What part of the Czech Republic was part of Germany? I had thought Czechoslovakia was entirely composed out of Austrian and Hungarian territory, and that the Czech Republic was entirely composed out of Czechoslovak territory (and almost entirely from the parts of the Czechoslovak territory that had been part of Austria).

Fixed. The western part of Upper Silesia is now part of the Czech Republic. It was given to Poland after WWI, disputed with Czechoslovakia, then given to Czechoslovakia.
