How about Ceuta (Morocco) from 1415-1580 (de jure) or 1668 (de facto)? Not a "colony"? Same for the Azores?

@ kennyb, The Azores Islands are integral part of Portugal, but they've never been treated as a colony. The same happens to Madeira and I think the same used to happen to Ceuta before Spain got it by Ceutans' popular decision.
