| Good quiz!
42 on 120 for a canadian, not bad! I miss a lot of city in the west!
A car trip between Montreal and Tampa Bay helped me to get a few ones in the East! |

| Can you do the same quiz with the latitude? |
 | Onno: | Oct 20th, 2010 at 18:28 GMT | 6 points |
| I have this quiz, it's not the exact same but close: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Onno/us_cities_latitude |
 | justagirl: | Oct 22nd, 2010 at 23:33 GMT | -3 points |
| This would be better if limited to the top 1 or 2 in each category. |

| I can't believe I'm from California and missed Long Beach, Stockton and Modesto |

| i missed so many easy ones! 60 is not too bad for a canadian from the northwest. |

| this is too similar to naming the biggest cities in the USA, which i clearly still cant do well... |
 | british: | Jun 19th, 2011 at 05:01 GMT | 7 points |
| guessing cities to find out the area of the longitude really helped... |
 | adjamemnon: | Jun 19th, 2011 at 06:32 GMT | 16 points |
| It appears that knowing the suburbs of Denver helped me immensely, and not knowing the suburbs of Phoenix hindered me as much. |

| I think it's safe to call the 90-95 longitudes the BBQ Longitudes! |

| so, we just have to name fairly large cities in America? (with a few exceptions). No skill required really, all guess work... |

| Since you can enter the cities freely, it basically is just guessing the big cities. imho it would make more sense to check the "force answers in order" button |
 | WyattsTorch: | Jun 19th, 2011 at 12:14 GMT | 11 points |
| One of my favorite population quizzes so far. I disagree with @Dr_Nibbles -- personally I was trying to visualize a map in my mind, and thinking of where each city was in relation to the other. I was even surprised by a few. |

| you definitely need this to be guessed in order other it defeats the whole purpose, you're just guessing city names arbitrarily otherwise, not knowing the order at all. |

| EASY, got them all in 3:00 to spare. |

| I have to agree. Yankees---how many times did you take the quiz? 7? 10? |
 | yankeespurs101: | Jun 19th, 2011 at 17:31 GMT | 3 points |
| He probably took it like 100 times... how can you possibly remember all those cities? |
 | TheCavsfan: | Jun 19th, 2011 at 17:41 GMT | 2 points |
| Great quiz. I can't believe I forgot some of the easier cities (Buffalo, Providence, etc) while I remembered some of the harder ones (Arvada, Chula Vista, etc). |

| Good quiz I see that you've obviously put a whole lot of work into this and it got published so good for you.
You've been cnyb'ed.

| When in doubt, guess Springfield. |
 | Nightingale: | Jun 19th, 2011 at 21:48 GMT | 2 points |
| I have the most difficult time imagining lines east of Phoenix and west of Dallas. It's that 110-100 section that is pretty much guesswork. |

| I like that curve. That's a nice curve. |

| Should probably specify that territories aren't included, otherwise San Juan, and maybe also Dededo and Saipan, should be included. |
 | NeerlandsHoop: | Jun 20th, 2011 at 13:45 GMT | 2 points |
| Why do I miss Washington in almost every quiz? :)
It's probably cause I go from state to state, guessing their biggest cities. |
 | tulliuscicero: | Jun 20th, 2011 at 13:49 GMT | 2 points |
| Norfolk is the only one I missed east of the Mississippi, but once I get west of there it was definitely harder. |

| Next: latitude? |
 | JimmyJazz25B: | Jun 20th, 2011 at 17:40 GMT | 4 points |
| There's all these giant suburbs on here that I dimly recall but just associate with the city near them. |
 | pschmiedt: | Jun 20th, 2011 at 19:13 GMT | 2 points |
| Completely spaced the fact that Alabama exists and that there are fairly decently sized cities there. |

| @2OutsNoProb, Sixtytwobobs, yankeespurs101: It seems YankeeIndians lied a little about his performances. His stats say he played the quiz twice and that his best score was 12%. He has a very unique understanding of 'got them all'. |

 | homerglennian: | Jul 27th, 2011 at 20:03 GMT | 1 point |

 | slengtorm: | Mar 22nd, 2012 at 13:50 GMT | 1 point |
| I was about to make that same comment, except it didn't accept "ft wayne" for me. |
