| What would be sizeable, even large, cities in very small states, such as Sacramento, Albany (NY), Trenton, Tallahassee, Annapolis and Springfield (Ill.), just don't occupy a fiftieth of large states' populations. Sacramento's metro is still, I think, the seventh-largest in California, after L.A.-Long Beach, SF-Oakland, San Diego, San José, Riverside-San Bernardino, and Orange County (not in that order), sixth if you consolidate L.A.'s metro with Orange County's. |
