Good quiz, but 10 minutes is too much time. Maybe 6-7 minutes.

I guess you're right, this quiz doesn't require that much typing of course.

Technically the census considers Boise to be "Boise City," so it's too long. I'd say move out Boise and make it a bonus answer.

Maybe add St. Paul as a bonus answer?

I thought about making Boise a bonus answer, but I expected bad comments if I did. In the end I chose Sporcle standard: on all official quizzes it's just Boise (State Capitals, B quiz...)

Yuma, Arizona, is just bubbling under with 90,000 people.

Does anybody have any idea why the Census calls it Boise City? I visited Boise last year and looked through city documents online, and they always just call it Boise or the City of Boise, just like any other place.

You have Flint and Provo out of order. Other than that a good quiz.

It's interesting (to me, anyway) that only one of these cities has a one-syllable name.

You forgot Orem, Utah. The U.S. Census Bureau's population estimate for Orem in 2008 was 93,250, just larger than Macon. (According to the source you cite.)

You're absolutely right. And I forgot Tyler and Sandy as well, that's what I got for using a 2000 census source for a 2008 list. I changed the quiz back to 2000 census.

LOL I got Elgin and Cary but not Miami and Tampa. Sometimes I wonder where my head is at.

Updated this using Census 2010 figures. Brought the number of answers back to 18, although the next 8 or so are bonus answers.

Chico, CA should be a bonus. It is larger than Gary, IN.
