This is an awesome game, but it definitely needs more than 7 minutes.

Did with one minute to spare. That Hint when you type in Wellington probably sped up my completion time.

I confess ... I froze on 'I' so went off and did the Capitals of the World quiz as a refresher. Still took 3 attempts to get them all! Brilliant quiz - and much harder than expected :o)

Truly excellent game. ranks with the unique two-letter countries game to top the geography section. nice one.

I misunderstood this game until I revealed the answers. I thought I was looking for the nearest capital to Amsterdam that started with each letter of the alphabet. Perhaps a little clearer explanation to avoid confusion? (Or maybe I'm just that stupid...)

Wow, I was definitely NOT expecting the answer for W, especially considering the hint that you gave (which is what I thought it was)! Managed to get everything else in the time though, I'm very impressed! Excellent quiz.

Maybe there's an easier way of doing it that I'm not seeing, but I know all the capitals and still would have had trouble even with twenty minutes.

I thought the same as jbduke, I was trying to find the closest to Amsterdam, so when I guessed the Z answer, i thought I was on the right track!

I changed the Game Note a little bit, but I don't really know how to make it any clearer. Thanks for the reactions!

Truth is, I was more surprised to find that Paris wasn't the closest "P" to Oslo than to find out that Wellington wasn't the closest "W" to Vientiane.

Great quiz! Although I'm still kicking myself over M and O. After getting stuck at F, I started focusing on the more unusual letters and building from there. Definitely a challenge!

*applauds* This is one the best quizzes I've ever seen! Very, very much fun and completely original. The bonuses were great too, you said exactly what I was thinking. W is a real surprise! 9 minutes is just the right time limit too. 5 stars and nominated. :)

Good quiz! I think you should get more time though because as soon as you get stuck, you're screwed. I spent most of the time trying to think of a capital city beginning with E without realising that it went straight to F after D!

I like how the amount of people who guessed each doesn't correspond to the order in which you need to guess them. That means I share a strategy with most people: blind guessing starting with European capitals.

Was surprised that G wasn't the one on the same continent, but I guess I shouldn't have been. Cool quiz!

This is an awesome quiz. I wish I got more than just 8, but still, super cool. Neat thing is you can probably roll out sequels starting from other cities--sure to be overlaps because of the limited number of Z/Q/Y cities for example, but hopefully not too many. Or change it to be the next capital farthest away. Man, was this fun. And tough as hell.

Two strategies possible: Try to do it in order which is tough, or try to guess every capital beginning with a particular letter which is a bit easier. I only cottoned on to this easier method half way through.

Bit surprised to find that Oslo is closer to Prague than to Paris - looks like I need to study my map of Europe more closely.

Great quiz! I'm very proud of my 14 out of 24. I would have gotten Jerusalem as well but I always get easily confused as to Capitals are sporcle ones, real ones or de facto ones. Anyway, kudos to you! (I don't suppose you'd be willing to accept an alternative spelling of Mongolia's capital? - just wondering)

Got 22, but had to restart it once. I got stuck searching for the M-capital. Those 'alphabet-quizes' always give me a hard time. Nice quiz!
