Yeah, Tyrion was the first character I clicked. I had to look it up - he wasn't in A Feast For Crows.

It makes sense that certain members of the Kingsguard would be in every book though, since every book has some parts in King's Landing. But Tyrion takes a ride at the end of the 3rd book, then opens up the 5th.

Gregor spends A Feast For Crows dying/being experimented on by Qyburn and while he is mentioned quite often, he never actually appears in person.
