You should probably lower the time, since quit a few Sporclers can name all 50 states in a couple of minutes.

I would suggest arranging the states in alphabetical order.

I was going through them alphabetically in my head, thinking, or trying, about the ONE I didn't have, and then I found out it was Wyoming... Oh, karma.... You never cease to amaze me.

The Northeast is seriously lacking in E-less states.

I agree it would be better as a minefield. Had plenty of time, and in 2 minutes could have entered all 50 if needed

Interesting how once the names became derived from Native American words (mostly) the e's began to disappear. Britain had no need for e's in the Northeast, apparently.

Time is good since any more time would allow you to just guess them all since over half the states are on this quiz anyway.

you know there's something wrong with your brain when you think of the phrase 'that state with all the mormons,' but can't move past that to remember the four letter word 'utah'.

Fun quiz. For an added level of brain-mangling, how about the list of state capitals of states without an E. Or States whose capitals don't have an E. It's like rubbing your head and patting your stomach--neither is terribly hard, but both together....

Fun quiz, but it seems a little easy/pointless when there are more states without E's than there are with them.

Got all but California! It's amazing how you can cross the country five times and assume you've already hit that coast every time.

Forgot Iowa :/. And why are people like survivorfan2000 being voted down for saying they enjoyed the quiz? Are they supposed to say they hated it?

@Akhoya, well shoot. I guess this means my perfect score from visualizing and going around the map doesn't count. (The fact that I did the northeast last even made for a surprisingly early finish.)

I don't remember learning the fifty nifty song, but I remember my brother (6 years younger) having to learn it. I guess it started being used somewhere after the class of '85 went through.

I think it's more fun when the quiz doesn't cover a majority of them. 30 states are E-less, that's more than half. Is there an A-less state quiz, because nearly every state seems to have those.

Missed California and Maryland. I think I was so busy going around the country, and California just fills up so much space that I just kept going around it.

Missed only 1. I doubt about the time... 2 minutes is enough to name most of them, but considering taking each state one by one, checking on e's shallows quite some time for a foreigner like me. Maybe 3 minutes would suffice for foreigners, or make a blitz 1 minute for our hardcore USA bragging people.

2 minutes might be long enough to name them (maybe slightly longer for us non-americans) but it's not long enough for untrained typists to enter them! This is the third quiz today where I've been typing non-stop - no pauses, no errors - but still only completed half the answers! maybe we need a system of two different times...
