| When I saw "owners" I supposed that the answers would be only sovereign countries. Bermuda isn't one. Also the answer for Santiago should be Ecuador, not Galapagos Islands. (The main island of Cape Verde is also called Santiago. It's a very common Spanish and Portuguese name... not the best choice for a game). The South Orkney Islands (please correct spelling) are below the parallel of 60º south latitude and therefore are considered part of Antarctica. They are in a zone where the British and Argentine antarctic claims overlap. The same happens with "Antartica". In the Antarctic peninsula the British, Argentine and Chilean claims overlap. You can't say that if the name is "Antártica", it belongs to Chile; if the name is "Antártida Argentina", it belongs to Argentina, and if the name is "British Antarctic Territory", it belongs to the UK... they are different names but the land is the same. Why complicate a game with disputed areas if there's plenty of undisputed ones? |
