| This is a great idea for a quiz, but you need to be much more clear about how the mines work. The first time I played it, I didn't put in a wrong answer until I'd already defused the mines, and I assumed that there was something wrong with the mines. After a few plays more, I realized that (as best I can tell) you defuse the mines by entering one of the countries that is the only one to start with a certain letter - Oman for o, Qatar for q, Yemen for y. I don't know if that's intentional or not, but if it is, first of all, I don't think it's a good idea, as most people, especially sporclers, know which countries are the only ones of a certain letter (or at least know that about Yemen and Qatar). So as soon as you put one of those in, the quiz becomes incredibly more easy, and definitely not worthy of 12 minutes. And if you do choose to keep these, please tell people about them! It makes no sense to have this strange set-up and leave it to the quiztakers to guess. I had to play this 3 times just to understand. |
