Bangladesh really is a close call. I did manage to get a straight line with Google Earth using a lot of zooming in, such that you go in between Thai islands, but still not very convincing. So not including it is plausible.

In the name of consistency, I'll be using the same source still, and I can't Bangladesh using it. It's very, very close though. The one that surprised me the most was United States. It was so close to hitting Howland and Baker Island, but both of those were blocked by Kiribati islands.
