What an interesting idea! I'll be curious to see how the results come out. There are a couple of places where you need to add in the last name--the ones I recall are the characters in 3, 12, 17, and 28 ("Gale", for the last one). You also ought to accept "David Prowse" for #13--that is, after all, who we see in the photo.

I modified what you advised me. The only thing I did not change was for number 12 because number 13 ( actor ) has the same name. However, I added an information. Thx a lot for the comment.

Excellent idea and very well used ! Got stuck with Indiana Jones and thought it was a problem that had to be fixed but then I saw the asterisk. The only guys I didn't have were Krueger's, Frankenstein's monster and Voldemort's actors.

When you asked for full name, I assumed you meant we had to type 'Henry 'Indiana' Jones' as that is his full name so it was kinda confusing if you don't get the answer to question 13.

Well, eventually, I changed the guy that required full name because for Indy, there were too many answer possibilities.

Couldn't you technically accept Hayden Christensen as Vader? Or are we still not supposed to talk about Episodes I-III? And I find it funny that Johnny Depp is the only non-character in the top 10. The man is just too damn famous...

As much as we may all have our doubts about him being human, I'm pretty sure that Arnold is the actor, and the Terminator is the character, not the other way around. :)

Dang it, was thinking 25 was the pikey from snatch. Pretty sure I typed jones and earl jones and james earl jones didn't fill in for vader.

I think that number 15's facial expression was caused by the character's being adjacent to number 21...

Number 14 needs to accept 'Anderson' or 'Mr. Anderson'' as an answer.

@Psycho_Path: james earl jones is accepted. Maybe you spelt it wrong. @fromzimbabwe: More than 85% got Neo and more than 90% got Reeves, so I think the blurring isn't such a problem. Ok, foyherald.

Does anyone else think it's a little odd that the character and actor from the highest grossing film of all time are both in the bottom 10? Is it just that Avatar hasn't had enough time to percolate through the public consciousness, or is there another reason?

I think with Avatar it's simply the fact that the character's name isn't very prominent in the movie. Personally, I don't know the actor from any other movie (so far). Add to this, that lots of people will only have seen it once (again, so far) and most probably end up with my 'answer': "Oh, yeah, sure I know him. It's ... the Avatar guy! Called... um... Avatar guy?!"

Thanks ( or because ) of the avatar comment and others friends that took the test, I decided to include the movies ( even though it might be late and the results won't show anything at the beginning ) to also compare the popularity of the movies. We bet Avatar gains ranks the faster ? =)

I didn't think Hancock was particularly famous. It wasn't that great of of a movie and I don't think it was very popular. Why not Agent J from Men in Black? Men in Black is pretty iconic.

Well HalJordan, the results tell us that Hancock is actually known by a lot of people. Maybe not you but 85% got him.

38.5% got Jigsaw, 20.7% got Tobin Bell, but only 8.1% got Saw Movies? You weird, weird sporclers you...

There's clearly something wrong with the percentages. The most recognized film is Harry Potter, at 19%. Even though typing Potter, or Harry Potter should give both the film and character, and 98.3% got Harry Potter the character correct.

FrostyD, (comment above): "Thanks ( or because ) of the avatar comment and others friends that took the test, I decided to include the movies ( even though it might be late and the results won't show anything at the beginning ) to also compare the popularity of the movies. We bet Avatar gains ranks the faster ? =)" I think I was wrong ^^

I don't see the point of asking film/character as you chose mostly films = characters. Also some films are repeated. Want to make it even more challenging: ask for the directors!
