I think that Orton should be included. Although he was inactive, he was on the 53-man roster for the game, he was just listed as the emergency (3rd) quarterback, which is one of the 8 players declared inactive on gameday. I'm pretty sure that most of the other 3rd-string QBs on this quiz would fall into the same category. For example, the SB XLII roster listed here: http://www.sportspool.com/football/super_bowl/Superbowl_XLII_roster.php Lorenzen and Gutierrez were both inactive, since they were their teams' 3rd QBs. I don't know what source you used to determine which QBs were on the roster, because I think PFR only lists teams' rosters for the season, not for a particular game. Also, in the case of Kyle Orton in 2006, they don't list any stats for him at all, since as the 3rd QB he must have never entered a game.
One more thing, I thought the quiz would have been easier if you organized the players by their order on the depth chart, rather than alphabetical order. In scrolling up and down through all the teams, I kept finding that I had accidentally left off a team's starter, that I knew, because the starters weren't all the first player listed. Just my personal preference, you can take it or leave it. This is an awesome quiz either way. |
