I could never figure out why the genius that was Jeff Buckley would leave out the genius that is Leonard Cohen? I ran out of space, so sadly (most) words from Cohen's 'extra' stanzas are bonuses.
No comment on the various geniuses of Cole, Lang, Wainwright, Dylan, Crowe or (ahem) Il Divo. There are a thousand variations and I've tried to stick with just the original and popular versions. Please leave a comment with suggested lyrics I may have missed.

	I don't totally get what you're going for here. I've heard versions where it's ghost instead of dove and shoot with instead of shoot at.

	@moviegoer74: It may sound like that, but from all the references I've found the lyrics I have are correct. I'm showing Cohen's original lyrics, but I do accept valid alternates when they exist. Thanks for playing!

	Try to be consistent with the "I've." Putting "I" brings up some without the others.

	@cgrapes429: Some versions kick off with "I heard there was..." or "Well I heard there was" and the original is "I've heard there was..." so I compromised and take "I" or "I've" or "Well" for that first lyric. The other I'ves are clearly I'ves and I's are I's so I left them as they are. Does that even make sense?!?

	You won't believe how many versions I've listened to. To confirm it, I you-tubed him (is that a verb now?) Very nice version. At 3:15 you can hear (and see) the proper lyrics being sung: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DinEKqtCDkg That said, I also found a live version where he does indeed say "Tonight" so I'll accept it. 	I could've sworn it was "holy dark", but I guess that's what I get for being most familiar with the Rufus Wainwright version.

	The John Cale version I was referring to is on the Scrubs soundtrack. It's not a live version so I just assumed it was his "standard" recorded version. Certainly I don't think he recorded a version specially for the TV show.

	Great quiz! I love this song, I know the Jeff Buckley version and there are a couple of differences, but still a fun quiz regardless.

	I always thought it was a sacred chord, but apparently it's not. I always find I've been getting a lyric or two wrong on these quizzes.
