Thanks MrChewypoo. Had a poster of Davy on my wall, from Tiger Beat magazine.

I'm probably the only one hearing Anne Murray's voice when I play this song in my head.

I don't care who's singing, when I hear the Monkees all I think of is Nez.

Was just discussing this song with a coworker yesterday. Of the 2200 MP3s on my playlist, it's the only song having three versions by different artists: the Monkees, Anne Murray, and U2 live. John Stewart wrote one hell of a pop song with this gem...and yes, RIP Davy Jones.

Great song, good group, fond memories. I loved hearing Davy Jones again as Nigel, part of Tiny Cowboy, on a Phineas & Ferb episode last year. RIP, Davy; and thanks for the quiz, MrChewypoo.
Odd note: How often is "the" in the bottom half of the most-guessed answers in a quiz like this?

I've always loved this song, but never stopped to think about how sweet the lyrics are. Does Anne Murray sing about the cold shavin' razor?

I miss you Davy. The Monkees are one of my favorite bands and Davy is my favorite member.

One of my favorite songs. But a minor nitpick: isn't it actually "my", and not "the" shavin' razor? RIP Davy.

"How much baby do we really need?" Whatever the answer to that question is, I hope it's a whole number.

The Monkees weren't about music, Marge, they were about revolution, and political and social upheaval.
