Sidney Crosby is an illegal immigrant from Mars so he cheated and played for Canada so USA should have won the Gold in Hockey.

This is stupid. You just stole the joke about how earth has won every single Miss Universe competition and the rest of the universe isn't even trying. The only problem is that the joke doesn't work in this context since the Olympics is an earth-based event. Big-time fail.

@dooger: you miss the point of just for fun. Sounds like you may have issues with the concept of fun anyway, so understandable. @rockgolf: I just checked your profile and see you're from Brampton... I'm just down Hwy 7 from you ("
It's worth the drive
")! What a small world! Cheers for playing!

How is there different amounts of medals? Shouldn't it be one Gold, one Siver, and one Bronze for each event? Do they award multiple for ties? Or do they count each member of a team's medals?

@zombifany: I thought the same thing and had to check. There was a tie for silver in the Men's 20K Biathalon (hence two silvers and no bronze awarded). I am, however, unsure how Mars placed in that event. Can't find any info on Wikipedia about that ;)

Mars has great athletes, but it's hard for the Martian athletes to adapt to the Earth's gravity. Whenever the Games are actually held on Mars the Martians have cleaned up!

Shame on you for writing/playing this blanantly Marsist quiz. Martians maybe small, green and repugnantly vile, but is that any real reason for undermining their lack of sporting prowess? Look at the data, Venus didn't even turn up and you don't give them a hard time do you? I really think some sort of apology is necessary.

A wise woman once told me "Men are from Mars." This makes Martians indeed dominant athletes in all sports, in fact Martians are favored to win the World Cup this summer. Go Mars!

Somewhere under the surface, the Martians are mocking Earth for failing at the 2010 Mons Olympus Winter Games. In between battling giant subterranean space spiders, that is.
