You did it! A sequel with a mini Nosferatu. Mr Chewypoo you are now my favourite (my optician is also quite keen on you too now, he should send you a cut of his new earnings).
Feb 4th, 2012 at 18:31 GMT
Thanks sufradley! Ask and you shall receive... I simply couldn't resist adding that one. And the least-guessed one (so far) is one of my favorites. I hope it elicits a giggle when revealed.
Feb 5th, 2012 at 01:55 GMT
Any quiz with Milo & Otis deserves five globes!!! And it was a darn cool quiz, too. Did better on the sequel than the first.
Feb 5th, 2012 at 06:38 GMT
@MrChewypoo: I think I know which one you mean. The 3 seashells one? I'm actually amazed that
identified it. A tiny gray picture featuring a minor gag in a film that grows more obscure every day. And for all of those reasons I love that you included it. (by the way I'm done with this quiz so you can make another one again)
Feb 6th, 2012 at 19:34 GMT
wow, it must be tiny for me to have missed pulp fiction. I thought there was like a bird in his ear or something.
Feb 15th, 2012 at 19:27 GMT
Only 48% have identified The Princess Bride? Inconceivable!
Feb 19th, 2012 at 15:35 GMT
I'd be lying if I said that the first one I saw was anything but "Wild Things".
May 19th, 2012 at 13:13 GMT
awesome. lots of it. Main reason? The incredible striking similarity of Reservoir Dogs and Princess Bride.

I've gotta say, this was pretty challenging. Nice job on this one. Some really excellent movie choices, too.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 04:45 GMT
got City Lights and Day at the Races but missed Shrek and Happy Feet. Hooray/Sigh
Jul 9th, 2012 at 04:46 GMT
Awesome quiz. Tried about every Marx Bros. movie I could think of and Day at the Races wasn't one of them.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 05:00 GMT
Who else thought Hugo was Polar Express?
Jul 9th, 2012 at 05:05 GMT
The pictures were already tiny!
Jul 9th, 2012 at 05:34 GMT
I couldn't (and still can't) actually make out three shells for Demolition Man, but I couldn't think of another movie that focused on anything that would sit on a tiled shelf. Overall, a good challenge and lots of fun trying to figure things out. Oh... and my knees make a 'slamming shut' sound every time I see that scene from Casino Royale.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 06:35 GMT
I haven't really seen this particular diversity of selections in any one quiz ... great job!
Jul 9th, 2012 at 07:24 GMT
Me: "That reminds me of the 3 shells from Demolition Man." *doesn't guess Demolition Man* *facepalm*
Jul 9th, 2012 at 10:27 GMT
Wasn't sure whether to leave my glasses on or not. I think there might be a limit to the value of astigmatism-correcting lenses.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 11:48 GMT
@bossfan92: I thought Back to the Future was Hugo, actually D:
Jul 9th, 2012 at 12:33 GMT
I'm going to be seeing double for a week...
Jul 9th, 2012 at 12:49 GMT
I should've guessed more than half of those but my brain doesn't seem to want to remember films that I've seen lately. I would've known an extra 15 more. How did everyone else do?
Jul 9th, 2012 at 12:49 GMT
I feel like seeing a shrink now!!
Jul 9th, 2012 at 13:16 GMT
I though Shutter Island was Inception...
Jul 9th, 2012 at 13:54 GMT
I tried just about every horror movie I could think of for one of them... which turned out to be Raiders of the Lost Ark. Also, I kept wondering what could possibly be so important and oddly ominous about an empty toothbrush holder (Demolition Man).
Jul 9th, 2012 at 14:12 GMT
The three sea shells? Really?
Jul 9th, 2012 at 14:13 GMT
May just be the B&W but the Schindler's List pic looks incredibly Bergman-esque
Jul 9th, 2012 at 14:39 GMT
i missed the Artist and I watching it last night :/
Jul 9th, 2012 at 14:48 GMT
Spent ages trying to think of films with dinosaurs only to see it was Edward Scissorhands... and i really love that movie.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 14:52 GMT
Okay, bottom row 3rd from left is a dog..."Marley and Me"? WRONG. It's impossible to be more incorrect than THAT.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 14:56 GMT
I'll have what she's having.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 14:57 GMT
I applaud the inclusion of the Naked Gun!
Jul 9th, 2012 at 15:03 GMT
Ok, kept thinking Pretty Woman was Malice. Just looked up the picture I was thinking of, and I don't feel quite as silly. http://tinyurl.com/7atcm5c
Jul 9th, 2012 at 15:17 GMT
about half my answers I only got because I was guessing the movie for a different picture.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 17:04 GMT
Okay, I guessed "Safety Last" (which I've never seen) for "Back to the Future" (which I've seen multiple times.) And I swear I'd have gotten "The Princess Bride" if I could have seen their faces. But five globes for including the original "Arthur"!

This quiz would be a lot more fun if the pictures weren't microscopic. I could barely make out half of them. :(
Jul 9th, 2012 at 19:29 GMT
@beanz57 yeah, no kidding. I guessed the seventh seal even though I knew it wasn't just for that reason
Jul 9th, 2012 at 19:35 GMT
Can you also accept Tonari no Totoro?
Jul 9th, 2012 at 20:07 GMT
Great variety. Great quiz.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 20:13 GMT
Thank you for Stripes. Now I'll go watch and love it again for the 2,000th time.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 20:48 GMT
Must have tried American Pie a half dozen times for A Fish Called Wanda.
Jul 9th, 2012 at 20:49 GMT
Fun! (though I sucked). Anyone else try "Ghost" for "Dirty Dancing"? I thought Kathy Bates was Matthew Broderick! And guessed Stripes for the just-barely-Harold Ramis-looking guy at the blackboard (now I can't see what that was) . . .
