Note, there are a couple of autobiography quizzes already out there, which are rather too difficult. I made this one a little easier (hopefully you've at least heard of all these people) and geared the questions to include creative titles which hint at the author (for example, "My Life" could apply to anyone, not just Bill Clinton).
I also find the clickable format perfect for this type of quiz.
Thanks for playing! What would your autobiography be called?

Fun quiz, Chewy. It might be trickier if you put "Moon Walk" before "Reaching for the Moon" and "Lettin It All Hang Out" before "The Hardest (Working) Man in Showbiz." I could see people confusing the two answers if listed in this order.

Damn, I was sure Margaret Thatcher wrote 'Losing My Virginity'.

Not sure Mein Kampf counts as an autobiography quite so much as a manifesto. Then again, I may not be best qualified to judge, since I haven't read it.

Very entertaining quiz, and quite approachable. Even though I hadn't heard of most of these, I was able to get almost all of them after several passes. (Thank heavens for the "next" button. My first thought was that "Kiss and Make-up" was RuPaul, until I saw Gene Simmons, and even so I eventually guessed that "Mouth of the South" was his. Or "Take It Like a Man"--really, almost all of these could be RuPaul autobiographies...)

Moonwalk - Lance Armstrong...facepalm! Then realizing Neil Armstrong isn't even on the list...double facepalm!! Finally realizing I've read both Lance Armstrong's books (highly recommended, BTW)...triple facepalm!!

Rocket Man...Elton John of course! Why can't I find Elton John??? Oh right...Rocket...got it now.
May 16th, 2012 at 16:06 GMT
Sorry Meat that title will always be Audie Murphy's.
May 16th, 2012 at 16:24 GMT
I did poorly because I wanted a majority of these to be Ron Jeremy. I mean come on! Losing My Virginity? Lettin It All Hang Out? Rocket Man? Take It Like a Man? Eighty is Not Enough? Every Second Counts? And of course, An Actor and a Gentleman.
May 16th, 2012 at 16:36 GMT
Ron Jeremy's autobiography was fantastic - one of the best autobios I've ever read.
May 16th, 2012 at 16:37 GMT
That moment when you realize you've clicked Lance Armstrong when you meant to click Lance Bass....grrr!
May 16th, 2012 at 16:39 GMT
Strange how when I saw Reaching for the Moon I thought Buzz Aldrin straight away, before looking at the answers, rather than neil Armstrong. Michael J. Fox caught me out - thought his would be the Eighty is not Enough one, like the 88 mph needed in Back to the Future

stop the facepalming madness!!!!!
May 16th, 2012 at 17:24 GMT
Rocket Man isn't about someone who's been in a rocket? Madness! Great quiz!
May 16th, 2012 at 17:53 GMT
Irony...the only one I missed is the only one of these I've actually read, the quite entertaining Steve Martin bio.
May 16th, 2012 at 18:44 GMT
technically its sir richard branson, but this quiz was hilarious. i really want to know what problems ron jeremy could possibly have
May 16th, 2012 at 19:09 GMT
Top three answers: David Hasselhoff, Adolf Hitler, and Tori Spelling. There's a joke in there somewhere but I can't find it.
May 16th, 2012 at 20:15 GMT
Hitler jokes? Nah, they're way out of mein kampfort zone. Anne Frankly, I've seen that done at least nein times before.
May 16th, 2012 at 22:25 GMT
Fun quiz. I was hoping for Werner Von Braun's "I Shoot For The Stars." (Satiric subtitle: "But Sometimes I Hit London.")
May 17th, 2012 at 00:49 GMT
Some of titles alone make me eager to read these. I always liked the double pun in "Lauren Bacall By Myself".
May 17th, 2012 at 02:53 GMT
I wonder if it's possible to an answer twice with the new format. Nimoy also wrote "I Am Spock" when people thought he was rejecting the character with the first book.
May 17th, 2012 at 03:21 GMT
Let's see, "Take it Like a Man." Two possible answers left. This shouldn't be too... Boy George and RuPaul? FUUUUUUUUUUUU
May 17th, 2012 at 13:55 GMT
Excellent quiz, thouroughly enjoyed it!! Very clever and challenging!
May 21st, 2012 at 16:37 GMT
I think "Every Second Counts" would have been an excellent title for Buzz Aldrin.
May 24th, 2012 at 16:32 GMT
I was sure that "Lettin' It All Hang Out" was Lance Armstrong's account of his triumph over testicular cancer.
Jul 16th, 2012 at 16:04 GMT
Very clever juxtapositions. Great job!
Sep 13th, 2012 at 02:42 GMT
Great quiz! (and may i say i very much appreciate you putting Bob Barker in this quiz!)
Oct 30th, 2012 at 13:33 GMT
I guessed Ron Jeremy for Letting It All Hang Out...
Jan 24th, 2013 at 17:27 GMT
I had to look up who Ron Jeremy was - I wish I hadn't!
Apr 27th, 2013 at 18:38 GMT
Good quiz! I was expecting "Still Me" by Christopher Reeve.
Apr 27th, 2013 at 22:58 GMT
Barnztormre, the joke you're looking for is: "That just goes to prove my theory, Germans love Tori Spelling."
