Isn't it "spatial"?

This is otherwise lovely, but resorting to ‘spacial’ lets it down a bit. (Yes, I know it’s been an accepted alternative spelling in the past, but it’s very, very nonstandard these days: http://ngrams.googlelabs.com/graph?content=spacial%2Cspatial&year_start=1840&year_end=2000&corpus=0&smoothing=3 .)

@hartfan and Pit_trout: Agreed, it was cheating a bit but, in my stupidity, I didn't realize it was misspelt until it was pointed out and Mr. Face met Mr. Palm. As you can imagine, changing it now would mean a whole re-write so I reworded the clue instead. Not optimal, I know but it was really my only choice.

You could replace
spacial
with 'consonants produced with the tip of the tongue' (
apicals
), although that would be a bit hard on anyone who hasn't studied phonetics.

I thought that was a lot of fun! Yes, I agree that the whole 'spacial' issue is not the greatest, but I think we can let it slide for the sake of a fun different game format, right?
