Hope you have fun! I've given you the full 20 minutes... you're going to need it! Let me know if I missed any (or valid alternatives). Cheers!
Mar 2nd, 2010 at 20:56 GMT
Well done - thats a really good quiz!!
Mar 2nd, 2010 at 21:01 GMT
Some of these were hard to see but it was a fun game. I came up with Strictly Ballroom, Cold Mountain, The Game...
Mar 2nd, 2010 at 21:09 GMT
um Pete's Dragon is quite clearly on there
Mar 2nd, 2010 at 21:46 GMT
@annie1: Cold Mountain... very nice. I'll add that. The ballroom one is part of another movie (see the animals behind it) and @alpha: that's part of another clue as well (see the animal in front of it). Thanks!

You have a moon in the picture but no "Moon" the movie?
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 00:01 GMT
@desanity: There's more to the moon if you look really close.
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 00:57 GMT
Should accept Cars as an alternative. Should NOT accept My Left Foot as it's a right foot!
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 01:28 GMT
It's called Shark Tale not A Shark's Tale
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 02:35 GMT
It's a neat concept, but I think it's a real stretch to say that these are 100
films when you've got movies like Jackass, Anaconda, and Stealth on the list.
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 10:57 GMT
I thought Toy Soldiers was Small Soldiers... could that be a valid alternative?
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 12:44 GMT
@Thalia: Thanks for the comment. I tried to name the quiz "32 Great Movies, 55 Okay Movies, 10 Bad Movies and 3 Pieces of Drivel" but it was too long.
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 18:48 GMT
Maybe you should accept 'Man on the Moon' too, since that is a movie too?
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 19:04 GMT
GREAT CONCEPT!!!!! movie choices were a little weak in some aspects
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 23:24 GMT
I have a suggestion: "It's a Mad, mad, mad, mad world" because it's a good description of if this picture was real!
Mar 4th, 2010 at 00:30 GMT
My only addition would be Stripes for the lines on the road.
Mar 4th, 2010 at 00:54 GMT
Can't believe I missed Napoleon Dynamite. I tried the most absurd things but it never dawned on me.
Mar 4th, 2010 at 18:28 GMT
I love that I was able to guess: Black Star Boomerang Castle in the Sky Domino Dragonfly Elephant Red Dragon Scorpion King Swordfish The Black Hole The Darkroom The Red Balloon The Rock Thirteen Twister
Mar 5th, 2010 at 02:11 GMT
Great one! I'll be waiting for the next installment. But--it looked like "Winged Migration" to me!
Mar 6th, 2010 at 02:43 GMT
I think the clue you left in the quiz belongs to your other "can you spot it" quiz.
Comment below threshold:
Mar 9th, 2010 at 14:57 GMT
Shouldnt it be "Mona Lisa's Smile" not "Mona Lisa Smile"? Wondering where the police clock comes in?
Mar 20th, 2010 at 04:19 GMT
Great quiz. How about just "Mona Lisa" for the painting (it's a Bob Hoskins movie). I also agree with Stripes for the road.
Mar 23rd, 2010 at 05:27 GMT
Chopper could be an alternative for Motorcycle Diaries.
May 3rd, 2010 at 18:12 GMT
Jul 4th, 2010 at 17:11 GMT
Not sure, but think there's no answer yet for the metal crowbar thing just above twister? I assumed this was "Crank"?
Jul 9th, 2010 at 12:27 GMT
@benjuk: It's not a crowbar, it's an arrow....that seems to be broken.
Jul 10th, 2010 at 05:53 GMT
I thought the rock with the arrow was a sword could have been 'Sword in the Stone'.
Jul 10th, 2010 at 15:04 GMT
Could you accept City Lights as an answer for all the lights that are in the picture?
Jul 10th, 2010 at 22:20 GMT
What about The Road, featuring Viggo Mortensen? Surely, that's a road pictured there.
Jul 13th, 2010 at 14:58 GMT
I feel like "The Invisible Man" should be a bonus.
Jul 13th, 2010 at 17:50 GMT
Great fun. I couldn't get away from "Bare foot in the Park".
Sep 2nd, 2010 at 18:44 GMT
technically isnt the 'chicken' for "chicken run" a rooster?
Sep 23rd, 2010 at 06:42 GMT
100% first try! Holy crap that was hard. Great quiz MrChewypoo(as usual).
Oct 5th, 2010 at 04:37 GMT
Is there any significance to that blue shovel/spatula looking thing that Jarhead has in his hands? I spent forever trying to figure out what movie that was alluding to.
Oct 5th, 2010 at 04:40 GMT
Also, what's with the pile of brown and tan tiles between the "chicken" and the orange? Couldn't figure that one out either.
Oct 16th, 2010 at 22:41 GMT
More suggestions: 21 (kevin spacey), blue sky (tommy lee jones), the santa clause (Tim Allen), raging bull (robert deniro), Palmetto (woody harrelson),
Oct 24th, 2010 at 05:56 GMT
Cool quiz, but many of the images are too difficult to see.
Dec 2nd, 2010 at 14:32 GMT
awesome!!! Where's the clue for Hook? I can't find it. And I'm with markyb for the shovel thing. What's that?
Jan 5th, 2011 at 19:38 GMT
doesthatsparkle: the hook is at the bottom of the casino sign on the right side of the image.
Feb 1st, 2011 at 06:34 GMT
@markyb: I believe the pile that looks look brown and tan tiles are pieces of chocolate for Chocolat.
