you should accept "Dr. Who" in addition to "Doctor"
Jan 4th, 2013 at 04:31 GMT
I can, but sometimes Whovians get mad at dr being accepted. It's like abbreviating Danny to Dn (since The Doctor is not a doctor.. it's more like his name).

As long as it isn't the displayed answer, they'll never even notice. It saves the rest of us having to type out a few letters.

sounds good :]

Thanks for the Avatar: The Last Airbender picture! FRIENDLY MUSHROOM!!!

If you accept Dr Who, but display Doctor Who, does that make it bigger on the inside?

Jeeves and Wooster should also be an acceptable answer for the image of Highclere Castle, since it was the location for Totleigh Towers in the show.

Never heard of Revenge

Don't forget, there's always money in the banana stand!

The smoke monster in Lost was a person actually, just a person who could change form into smoke.
Jan 11th, 2013 at 07:40 GMT
Big fan of Dexter and The Walking Dead, and missed both. Sigh...
Jan 11th, 2013 at 07:53 GMT
Even though it went off the air 30 years before I was born, I'm very pleased over a third of quiztakers got I Love Lucy just from the word Vitameatavegamin. Now that's staying power.
Jan 11th, 2013 at 08:15 GMT
So I'm reading the quiz title and I'm thinking...are there really enough shows that don't have any people in them to make a full quiz? Hmmm....I can't think of any shows without people in them. Looks at quiz...thinks maybe all the television watching WITH people in them is rotting my brain.
Jan 11th, 2013 at 08:40 GMT
LOL Glim... I went through that same thought process! (and failed miserably, since I've never watched half of those shows)
Jan 11th, 2013 at 10:47 GMT
Is it just me or is Avatar: The Last Airbender becoming the Kyrgyzstan of the TV section? Even though I've never watched it, I type it into every quiz just in case!
Jan 11th, 2013 at 11:43 GMT
Before actually reading the word Vitameatavegamin I just assumed it was some German word and guessed Hogan's Heroes.
Jan 11th, 2013 at 11:47 GMT
I so got Futurama thinking that the Twilight Zone was The Scary Door

Barely missed Downton Abbey (wrote Downton Abby) and Walking Dead (wrote Waking Dead). Oh, well.
Jan 11th, 2013 at 12:28 GMT
Couldn't come up with something for Breaking Bad? Hopefully we see a sequel soon enough...
Jan 11th, 2013 at 12:49 GMT
Only got Avatar from the massive spoiler picture on the front page.

Someone likes their fantasy/sci fi
Jan 11th, 2013 at 13:12 GMT
@caramba - you caught me :)
@cflyleaf - I thought someone would bring that up. I don't think what's in the picture can really be called a "person" though.
Jan 11th, 2013 at 13:31 GMT
dang, recognized the chair after seeing the answer, but took me so long to remember wishbone by then time was almost out
Jan 11th, 2013 at 13:46 GMT
The TV quizzes always make me think, simultaneously, "I watch too much TV" and "I should do better on these quizzes, given how much TV I watch."

I definitely wrote Downton Abbey and it didn't take it. :(
Jan 11th, 2013 at 19:21 GMT
Technically, the Avatar pic does have a person in it. Aang is inside the iceberg and you can see his silhouette.
Jan 11th, 2013 at 19:45 GMT
@PiiXiiE you forgot a "W"
Jan 11th, 2013 at 19:48 GMT
Oops, ignore me, I think I typed it in as DowntoWn Abbey and it accepted it... But maybe I made a typo.
Jan 11th, 2013 at 21:54 GMT
Any quiz that includes both Doctor Who and Merlin gets five globes from me! Great quiz!
Jan 11th, 2013 at 23:05 GMT
For me, when the quiz first loaded, none of the pictures showed up, so I'm thinking, "Ok, I get that there are no people, but why is there no anything else?"
Jan 11th, 2013 at 23:18 GMT
Very good premise for a quiz, but some rather esoteric choices for shows.
Jan 12th, 2013 at 00:01 GMT
10 minutes is too much time... try for somewhere between 2-4 minutes
Jan 12th, 2013 at 10:38 GMT
Good to see some traditionally British TV shows! Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, Merlin etc :)
Jan 12th, 2013 at 12:04 GMT
Guess I shouldn't be disappointed with a middling result never heard of 6 of these, so I couldn't even guess (Dexter, Downtown Abbey, Thrones, walking dead, Dragonball?)
Jan 12th, 2013 at 18:04 GMT
This quiz is for nerds. I'm allowed to say this because I'm a nerd.
Jan 12th, 2013 at 21:58 GMT
I got five including wild guesses. Maybe sporcle is my television.
Jan 14th, 2013 at 08:03 GMT
Just me, or did the Brady Bunch picture looking cartoonish throw you off?
Jan 14th, 2013 at 19:23 GMT
For everyone who has not heard of/watched Revenge. Do it! It's a great show and it's on Netflix!

Doesn't a person's hand count as a person?
