Nice encore, MovieGuru. And yup, the middle box answers are exactly how I remember George Carlin saying them. ;)

Fun. You should accept both the first and last names for the Wonka winners. I kept typing in their last names and getting confused.

So I put in Fellatio Aficionado, and got all of the answers above it, but the answer itself didn't appear. I tried entering it again, and it didn't work. At the end, it told me I missed that one. Don't know if it's a quiz problem, sporcle problem, or what.

Yeah, that is definitely a problem. I meant to not accept that at all. I just wanted it to show up as the answer (to keep things pleasant). But now that I review the original "Seven Dirty Words" quiz, that quiz DOES accept all the pleasant answers as answers, so I've corrected the error. Thanks!

Sporcle is the only place that "Wonka Kids" ever comes up in my entire life. Not even kidding here. I'm not criticizing, but am honestly curious. Why do so many quizzes include Wonka Kids? Or is it just a "thing" like Kyrgyzstan?

Pretty hilarious that the meat is the least-guessed ingredient in a Big Mac!

In the UK, we call patties "burgers"

@Saggers Yeah, we do. Interesting point arising from that: wonder what's accepted as an answer for the meat? Could it be that you have to put 'patties' and that's why so many people are missing it, because it simply wouldn't occur to them to put that? If so that's daft and needs to be changed...anything right down to just 'meat' should probably be accepted.

It might accept "beef", but it doesn't accept "all beef patty" or "all beef patties", which was frustrating. Especially since I'd forgotten there are two of them...

Patties? Patties?!?!?!?

It's asking for "patties" because of the Big Mac song from the 1970's, which many Sporclers are apparently too young to remember.

maggie, you're right, but this quiz is about the ingredients, not the song. it really needs to accept 'beefburger' or 'burgers'

Somehow I always take the Bond actors Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton, and combine them into the idiotic guess: Roger Daltrey.

I'm not normally one to complain about time, but I thought there was a generous amount of time on this one, considering the goal is to only type a one or two guesses per category. I had some lucky guesses, but I still felt like I would have had a lot of time to guess from the top down if I wanted to.

@rockerlizz: I'm getting very tired of that argument. Yes, technically it's United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, but then, technically, it's also Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Principality of Liechtenstein and so on. If sporcle went by official names most countries would be very long to type, so luckily sporcle normally uses the common short form names.

Since most quizzes don't take chinese for an answer, I tried typing mandarin and cantonese and gave up until I eventually guessed russian. Anyway, I don't know which specific type of chinese is spoken at the U.N., but it should be accepted as an answer.

Definitely it's looking for patties because of the old song. "Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun."
On the larger topic of accepting alternate answers, as this quiz is an amalgamation of the answers from other quizzes, what is accepted here should be the same as what's accepted on those other quizzes.

As noted above, there are some real oddities in what is accepted. Asking for the ingredients in a Big Mac and not accepting "hamburger" is very strange, and every language quiz on Sporcle I can recall distinguishes among the various Chinese languages. Are these artifacts of the original quizzes?

Great that it accepted the answer 'crap'. Shame that it wasn't for the Big Mac ingredients.
