For Ivy League Schools having "university of Pennsylvania" and the one word for every other school is kind of strange. Just put Penn.

Thanks so much! @Ellery, I do accept "penn" but if it makes more sense to have that be the displayed name, I'll change it.

You get a feeling of extraordinary satisfaction whenever you get the most obscure answer at the first guess.

That number for the World Cup is pretty skewed because the quiz was active for two and a half years before Spain won.

@pianoshootist, yeah I thought about that..Spain is pretty easy to get for any soccer fan, but I thought it could still fit since it's the only category where there are possible guesses outside of the answers, which makes it more difficult (ie people might guess countries that have never won a world cup, and they won't get any credit, whereas the other categories, that's not
really
possible)

Finally, someone has come up with a format to reward those of us inflicted with Sporclitis. Great quiz!

Love it! Lol Spain was the first World Cup winner to come to my mind. Okay, the only World Cup winner to come to mind, since it was the only World Cup I paid attention to at all.

I only know Clue(do) through Sporcle, but surely Pool Room or even Billiards Room could be accepted? Love the idea for the game, though.

Pool room is iffy, but on your way to typing 'billiards,' sporcle should pick up on 'billiard' (guess you were typing too fast!) :)

If you're looking for sequel ideas: colors of the rainbow, chess pieces, countries (or capitals) of North or South America, Continents of the World, 7 dirty words.

Seeing it written as "Pennsylvania" really confused me, being from the Philadelphia area my entire life. No one, and I mean NO ONE, who lives within three hours of Penn calls it anything else but Penn. :P But this was a great quiz and an awesome format that I haven't seen before :3

@aphobicsteve & jonesjeffum: I think THIS game creator HAD to list it as "Pennsylvania" because that is how the answer appeared in the original game "Ivy League" Quiz.

Its funny, but I definitely would have had a harder time doing well on this quiz if it was just all the quizzes put together. In the World Cup quiz for example, I could not have gotten all of them right, but I was able to guess the least-guessed answer.

Piling on here, but loved the format. Did pretty well with the express path--pondering the least-guessed for 10-15 seconds sure beats madly typing in 7-8-9 answers. Even if I was not right all the time, I was damn close, so only had to key in another one or two (with all the other possibilities already filled-in). Great concept. Bad typsists salute yuo!

Great quiz. The only one I got straight away was the football one, and I was exceedingly surprised that Spain is the least guessed of those - I mean, it won the last one!

Why do these dwarf names come up in numerous quizzes all the time? In the fairy tale they don't even have names.

@pdu: The lovely thing about folklore is that it is an ever-evolving tradition. There are constantly new and alternate versions of the same story, none of which is more authoritative than any of the others. The Disney version of the story had named dwarves, and their version is (a fairly well-known) part of the tradition now, along with other versions without names.
