If you're going to claim things like "these are historic games" and "A football fan that follows would know who the player was", you would have a lot more credibility if you didn't make mistakes yourself when making the quiz, such as mistaking the 1993 Redskins for the 1983 Redskins. I even did your research for you and told you about that mistake, as well as the fact that you were missing the 1999 Rams, but I guess you are too busy defending your poor spelling and unorthodox hints to fix these easily correctable errors.
I'll try to make my original point one more time, to see if I can explain it more clearly. If you're not going to give the years or teams, that's fine, let us guess. However, when you list two teams next to each record mark, most quiztakers would come to the conclusion that the first team listed is the team the player was a member of. Listing both teams is completely unnecessary and needlessly confusing. You should either list the team that each player was on, or leave the teams off altogether. Listing two teams serves no purpose but to confuse people.
For example, if I'm asked to name the top 5 receiving games, I know Flipper Anderson is first. I would probably know to guess Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens. I may or may not have thought of Jimmy Smith without the Jaguars hint, I can't say for sure. However, I didn't even notice that Rams was listed 2nd for Flipper Anderson, so after I got Rice I never even thought to guess Owens because I was trying to think of a Bears WR who could have had 283 yard against the 49ers. Likewise, I never guessed Marino or Simms because I thought I was looking for members of the Chargers and Bengals. |
