For those of you who have taken the quiz, should I change #7? It might be a little too difficult.

I would change #7...it doesn't seem any different than guessing random islands to me. I was just focusing on mainland countries..

leave haiti!! it'll encourage people to think more, as it does border a country.

Why not say explicitly in the instructions “All countries included border at least one other country,” or something like that? This would reassure us that however stuck we get, we don’t need to start guessing random islands; and it would also give a very small nudge towards looking for countries with just one shared border?

Not sure why 'August 2012' is in the quiz title though...

^ i think the date is included in the title so that people know South Sudan is an option. In old quizzes, it probably wouldn't be included.

Just guessed Haiti, thinking one of them would be an Island country. Was about to start guessing Indonesia, etc. I say leave it.

#7 is just mean, but not out of place...no different than having dublin/london or jakarta/port moresby nations

I just knew either Haiti, Dominican Republic, UK or Ireland would be there!

I would leave Haiti. I was still able to get it, and it makes people think outside the box.

I got Haiti after I thought I had covered pretty much all of the continental landmasses with guesses and then switched to islands with multiple countries. I think it's gettable if you get creative after running out of options. Helps that most of the continents are fairly evenly represented by the other 9.

I liked Haiti as a clue. There's enough time that people can run through the continents, think about what's left, re-read the rules, and think, "hmm, what about shared islands?"

Great quiz! I forgot to go to Central America, thus I missed El Salvador.

Ah, so long since I've played one of these, and they're so good! Love these quizzes. 7 is fine, good to have a toughie in there, and it rewards the people who think of trying one border countries - provides a satisfied smirk. :)

I think I have a solution that both the anti- and pro- Haiti groups would like. In the notes suggest that for additional help, you can type the name of a continent to show which answers are included within. That would use the same system as your quiz already uses, and yet would keep the clues hidden for those that don't want to use them. For example typing 'Europe' would result in 'Contains #4'.

Am I the only one who didn't understand how to play this game? When you click for the stats, the language about "most and least guessed" confused me.

Got number 7 with 6 seconds to go... might be a little obscure though, not much better than guessing random islands.
