	Just to mention, pump is generally not used to describe a casual shoe in the US, more like a ladies' dressy high heel type shoe. But no bother, after all, a big part of word ladders is working on getting the ones you don't know from the other answers anyway! Plus I learned something. Good quiz :)

	Odd quiz. Toughest word ladder I've ever done -- and the only time I've felt remotely satisfied after finishing one. Mimbleton created something knotty and dense here.
