	OK so thumbs up to Mimbleton, because this is a decent fun ladder. But thumbs down to the editors for failing to fix a couple of issues before publishing. Bane is not a nemesis. Even though the clue gets you close, there are better clues. The word has been used in other ladders before with decent clues. Tort is not a court case, but a type of court case. Why not add "type of" in front? A lymph node may by knotty, but why make confusion when you can just have "lymph ____"? I don't get it. druhutch did a great job of helping me make my ladder better. More of ya'll should be as diligent as him, at least for front page quizes.

	The definition of bane is "A person or thing that ruins or spoils". A person that does that can easily be classified as a nemesis. It's a bit of a stretch but it works. Anyway you have to realize that there's a word ladder published every day, and many of the same words are used. If the same simple clue is always used, that same clue will appear over and over again on the daily dose. That's why people like to (and should) mix it up.

	I DID say it was close. If you want to go for varied clues, I am all for that. How about "poison"? If that was the clue, I would have thought "WTF?" for a second, the "oh yeah, good one!". Or, if we're getting into non-English, "Cauld ta da ____". That woulda been hard!

	Moot also means arguable or not legally relevant, IE not arguable. This is a word that really needs to make up its mind.
