3 minutes would be enough if you randomised the order. It's too easy in alphabetical order.

Never realized that people were playing my game or commenting! I changed it to 2 minutes to make it more challenging.

1 minute is plenty, especially with the answers in alphabetical order.

Got it with ten seconds to spare. I bet there are plenty of people that know their states that will get this within a minute. Good game that makes you think.

Yeah, if you know your states, this one is pretty easy - only took 36 seconds for me. That's not bragging, just saying perhaps it'd be good to make it just one minute, instead.

I just posted a brutally difficult States quiz. Can you identify the State from a
complete list of other States
that share none of the same letters?

maybe one thing you can do is change it so you dont need to type it in with a capital letter at the beginning, illinois and massachusetts were not goin in at times for me

When I'm picturing the map in my head, it's easy to forget Alaska or HawaII. Got that last one with 23 seconds to spare. It may seem "easy" but I, for one, often choke on quizzes like this when I know all the possibilities (states, countries, etc.) but have to pick and choose the right ones for the quiz.

@refwen: either there's a Sporcle glitch, or you're wrong and they weren't spelled correctly when they weren't accepted. Either way it's not the game creator's issue. Capitalization doesn't matter in any Sporcle quiz by design.

I think the high percentage of correct answers shows that the time should be less than 2 minutes.

I agree that 2 minutes is too much time. I'm from Australia and still got the answers in under a minute. I think 1 minute would be enough.

Oo, Hawaii very nearly got me, I spent about the first 1.55 thinking of mainland states. I think the results show that the time is perfect.

I'm surprised Hawaii isn't a lower percentage, given that it's off the mainland and doesn't _sound_ like a double letter. After Mississippi, the percent who get each state is remarkably even.
