Boston College is in Chestnut Hill which is 6 miles from downtown Boston. Is that not close enough?

Why not Minneapolis? All four pro sports and UM?

Because UM is in st paul, not Minneapolis. And I guess he's talking about definitely within the city limits, because not only does BC not count, neither does Villanova which is less than 3 miles from Philly.

I didn't know that UM is in St. Paul, but I do know that the Wild play in St. Paul. So whichever city the university is in has to be an answer. I'm also not sure why New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, or DC count when BCS implies football and they don't have football teams in those conferences. And if Chestnut Hill doesn't count for Boston, DC should only have MLB, NBA, and NHL listed also, and no NFL for NY either.

@Ben Goldberg- The UM has campuses in both minneapolis and saint paul, but the main undergraduate one (with the sports facilities) is in minneapolis.

Miami, Phoenix and Boston should be included. Also, Northwestern has a Chicago campus. Also, DePaul, Marquette, and Georgetown don't play in "BCS Conferences" for football. If you're using the BCS conferences, you should take out those three.

Ditto on what EpicWinFTW said. I was looking for football playing schools and DePaul comes up when I put Chicago hoping Northwestern would count for them.

Boston College is not in Boston, no matter how much they'd like to say they are, so leave them out (an admittedly biased opinion from a Boston University alum!). I do agree that using the term 'BCS Conference' should only include schools that play football.
