	I didn't include the Fiesta Bowl because it didn't become a Jan. 1 bowl until the 1981 season. Until then, it was usually played on Dec. 25 or 26.

	Great quiz. I think you should clarify that these are the bowls following the season indicated. When I think of the 1970 Rose Bowl, I think USC and Michigan, since those were the teams that played on January 1, 1970. But it is a great quiz anyway. I missed only 3 because I forgot Air Force and Maryland and completely spaced out on Tennessee.

	Thanks. I did leave a little note up on the top, it says that the games played on Jan. 1, 1971 are from the 1970 season, etc.

	@mike, really? im going to assume by your icon that youre a nebraska fan. they get to play kansas and iowa st every year and those teams are usually garbage. boise and tcu scheduled oregon st (x2) and va tech, nebraska had south dakota st, western kentucky and idaho. that means boise and tcu each play 3 ranked teams opposed to the two on nebraskas schedule. this is just the beginning of my rant on how BCS schools feel they have some sort of entitlement over VERY GOOD non-AQ schools just b/c of their conference...

	Just noticing that there's not a single current Big East team on this list. I know teams have changed conference affiliations a lot since then, but this shows how lacking the current Big East is in teams with great football traditions.

	Ahhhh, the good old days.....I get a kick out of people that can't remember Baylor won the SWC in 1974! Poor Neil Jeffrey, throwing the ball out of bounds to kill the clock...on fourth down. Ooops. I miss Coach Teaff. Good memories...Thanks.
