	Panama, Ecuador, Cambodia and Zimbabwe all have their own currencies. Arguing that the dollar in those nations as an accepted currency is problematic. There are many cities in Switzerland, Sweden and Denmark, as well as Northern Ireland (part of the UK) where Euros are accepted universally, and even dispensed from ATM's.

	I'm not sure if you can say Monaco the Vatican and San Marino have adopted a foreign currency. Accepting the Euro's status as a sui generis multinational currency, those three countries have all made deals with the EU, and mint their own versions of Euro coins. Andorra is also in negotiations to mint their own versions of the Euro.

	Hamburger--None of these countries is problematical. Ecuador adopted the dollar as its national currency in 2000, and that is its only official currency at this time. In Panama the US Dollar is co-official with the balboa. However, you are correct about Zimbabwe and Cambodia. The Zimbabwean system is somewhat complicated, but their official currency is the Zimbabwean dollar. The official Cambodian currency is the riel.

	I believe that Liberia did once use the US dollar, but it uses the Liberian dollar now.

	I thought that Cambodia is possibly problematic so its now removed, because I agree it is sort of ambiguous. Zimbabwe no longer uses the Zimbabwean dollar since April 2009, so I disagree with Zimbabwe. The European micronations are not part of the EU, so they are adopoting a foreign currency.

	Also, countries that only produce their own coins which are equal in exchange to the foreign currency, whilst producing no banknotes are hardly producing their own currency. So I didnt bother mentioning them. Countries that have more than one "offical currency" I have mentioned both.

	When you go to an ATM in Panama (or El Salvador) you get US dollars, not the local currency. I'd say that's a good definition of a foreign currency being adopted, not just accepted, there.
