I'm a bit surprised Honus Wagner's not on this list. He's the reason that career stolen base records don't start in 1900.

daHOOK, I'm not sure what you mean. There are records for stolen bases in the 19th century, but the rules were a little different at times (e.g.,crediting a stolen base for going 1st to 3rd on a single) and the players are often very obscure - so I chose only to focus on the 20th century.
