Goldschlager- apparently the gold bits in it cut the inside of your throat so the alcohol gets to your blood stream quicker. Or thats certainly how it feels anyway (and for the next few days after...)

Funny not many people got Soco... Perhaps they should change the clue to include something about its miraculous ability to cause unbearable hangovers.

Jagermeister should be an acceptable answer for those who can't (or don't know how to) make those dots over the a (umlaut?).

@jlanner82 - how do you get paid for being an alcoholic and where do I sign up? And I agree that Soco doesn't taste like peach. It tastes good, yes, but not like peach.

If your keyboard doesn't allow you to modify vowels with an umlaut, then the accepted convention is to add an 'e' after the vowel. So, for example, Jaegermeister. Please, allow this answer....and please future quizwriters, remmeber it!

Echoing Bethannie, please allow "Jaegermeister"; "ae" is a much more correct way of writing "ä" than "a".

SoCo is my potent potable of choice, but I don't think it's classified as a liquer (that says after dinner drink to me) but rather a flavored whiskey. I've had hundrends if not thousands of SoCo and waters, but I had no idea I was supposed to be tasting peach. I need a drink.

On the bottle, Southern Comfort says it has a caramel flavor. In truth, it's flavored with vanilla, spices, and a sweetener. None of these, however, is peach.
