	Perhaps you could use some of their 1914 names like Kamerun and Tanganyika and Southern Rhodesia just to spice it up, and suggest some long dead colonies like Obock and Anjouan (I collect stamps!!)

	I think I did so below average because you shortened the time. I think I would have done as well as most of the others if it was 5 minutes. At least 1 more minute would be good.

	Since you're asking about colonies 1914, Ethiopia can't be considered Italian, and South Africa is usually considered independent since 1910. Also, Spain should be accepted for Morocco.

	South Africa was independent in 1910. In 1910, the conference unified South Africa from the former British colonies (Cape Colony, Natal) and Dutch/Afrikaner colonies (Transvaal,Orange Free State) into one confederation. (though the native inhabitants did not have much say in the matter, in fact they had no say in anything until 1994)

	It was similiar to what happened in Canada in 1867 where the four orginal provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick were formed as one dominion (Canada) under the british flag.
