	definately you have forgotten danish and dutch. French as well is the official language of several caribbean islands (Martinique, Guadaloupe, St. Martin, etc)

	English is not an official language of the USA, it only has de facto status and Canada's are French and Enlglish, the native american languages do not have official status.

	English is not the official language of the US. There isn't one. This quiz would be better if you you showed where the language has official status and then we guess based on that. For fun, you could have a bonus answer of American...just to see how many people would actually guess that!

	The USA has no official language, but according to Wikipedia, at least 28 of its states do. So English does have some official status there; I guess this is the logic by which Hawaiian makes it on here too (official in Hawaii, nowhere else), and the same goes for Cree, Slavey etc. in Canada since they're official only in certain territories. P.S. Inuktitut should be accepted as an alternative for Inuit.

	yeah and I heard Mexico doesn't have any official languages, all the same there are a LOT more Indian languages in both Canada the US Mexico Guatemala you name it so I don't really know what the quiz wants official or just spoken

	@Chocolatl, I know that I have responded to you before on this very issue. The Continental Congress did establish English as an official language, but the Articles of Confederation they created lost all their power after the Constitution was ratified.

	Very nitpicky, difficult quiz even for a professional linguist like myself. Correct that the US DOES NOT have any official language. You have to add Danish for Greenland, and Papiamento for the Antilles. You should also accept "Eskimo" if it is typed in, for Inuit (yeeeeees we all know it's politically incorrect, but give the laymen a break). Incomplete and innacurate quiz that needs some revision.

	Inuit is not a language. Inuktitut is one of the languages that the Inuit speak.

	There is no official language in Mexico, so if you include indigenous languages you should include all sixty-something of them (Zapotec, Mayan and Mixtec, by the way are not languages but language families. Arguably there are more differences between mayan languages than between romance languages)
