| The USA has no official language, but according to Wikipedia, at least 28 of its states do. So English does have some official status there; I guess this is the logic by which Hawaiian makes it on here too (official in Hawaii, nowhere else), and the same goes for Cree, Slavey etc. in Canada since they're official only in certain territories. P.S. Inuktitut should be accepted as an alternative for Inuit. |
