For those unfamiliar, the Scots language is native to the Scottish Lowlands, Caithness, the Northern Isles and parts of Ulster, and should not be confused with Scottish Gaelic. Scots is a Germanic language derived from Northumbrian Old English.
Due to the similarity to the English names, unlike the rest of the series this quiz requires the places to be named rather than picked. HINT - there are 21 places from Scotland and 5 from Northern Ireland (mainly Scots-speaking areas). There are also 3 from England and 1 from Wales. Where many variants of the Scots name exist, one has been chosen.
