	Oh! "Containing any number of occurrences of one of the five vowels." I started with Chad, Cyprus, then sat there thinking for two minutes. Maybe a note at the top would help; like "The one vowel may occur multiple times. If Tennessee were a country it would be valid, as it contains no vowel but 'e.'"

	You could reform the question a bit to make it clear. A very clear, but not so neat way would be to add it in a source text. @MacZidane: There are quite some languages in which Y is a vowel, or, as in Dutch, it can be either a vowel or a consonant. Be honest, Yemen was a lot easier to come by than Kyrgyzstan. Though not official, you see different usage of the letter.

	The letter "Y" can be a vowel or a consonant, depending how it's used. In words like "yellow" and "youth" it functions like a consonant (actually, technically a glide -- sorta half-way between a vowel and a consonant). In words like "belly" and "myth" it functions like a vowel. A simple rule of thumb: If you can replace the "y" with a vowel without changing the pronunciation of the word, it's a vowel; if you can't, it's not. So in Cyprus, Egypt, and Kyrgyzstan, it is definitely a vowel. In Yemen it is definitely a consonant. It's role is less clear in Myanmar and Seychelles and depends to a large extent on individual pronunciations. My own take: I lean towards consonant for Myanmar and vowel for Seychelles. Just my $0.02.

	I initially made it clear 'y' was not a vowel, but given that I have now clarified that the individual vowels can be used multiple times, there is no space to insert this further clarification in the title.

	Except that 'y' IS a vowel in names like Egypt and Cyprus, and a constant in names like Yemen. If you want to make an exception in your quiz that it's only vowels other than 'y' that's one thing, but you can't say that 'y' isn't a vowel.

	The 'Y' thing bit me in the a$$, too. The only instance in the quiz that y is not used as a vowel is with 'Yemen'.

	Ok - I'll try to clarify this one last time, as it seems there is some misunderstanding. For the purposes of this quiz 'y' is not considered a vowel. Although 'y' may be used as a SPOKEN vowel in Cyprus and Egypt, this is besides the point. 'Y' is not a vowel letter (defined as 'a', 'e', 'i', 'o', 'u'). I felt this was self-explanatory, but for those to whom it has caused considerable difficulty, I will make one further clarification to the title, for the avoidance of doubt. Hopefully this will resolve the problems.

	I agree. 'Y' is not a vowel. Missed Ghana & Malta. Can't believe Kyrgyzstan is the most missed since so many sporclers love that freakin country.
