	You seem to confuse German with Germanic, which is quite different. So the answer should be 'Germanic tribe'. The mother language of English should at least be Proto-Germanic and definitely not Latin. Latin merely had its influences on English, but English is most certainly a Germanic language. Moreover, a language can only be part of one language family. How did Proto-Indo-European evolve into four other languages?? What are you talking about here? It evolved in a lot more languages than that. Maybe you're talking about language families, like Romance, Slavonic, Germanic, etc. But even then there would be more than four. Just leave out that number and it will be fine. Your answer for the mother language of Spanish doesn't make sense at all. Those are just Romance languages and Spanish is even among them. It should be (Vulgar) Latin or Proto-Romance (this one is preferred).
