Is auto(mobile) too general for "A6 or TT Coupe"?

Q_Pheevr: I've added auto and automobile as alts.

It's Curt Gowdy (with a C). Also, "American" would work for several of these, and that obviously is not the intent. Either a bonus answer chastising for being to general, a note about answers being specific, or (best way IMO) where possible include a non-American which would solve the issue quite nicely.

Should alias be allowed for "Ant-Man or Hawkeye"?

@Sopz: Thanks for the comment. I always thought an acronym was an abbreviation that can be spoken like a word (e.g., RADAR or MADD). That said, I will add as an alt.

No, an acronym is specifically made of initials. In fact, USA is an initialism; it differs from an acronym in that the latter is read as a word, like your example RADAR, as opposed to USA, CEO and so on, which are initialisms.

And as "Etc." isn't an acronym either, there really is no reason to add it as an alternative.

Instead of "Ant-Man or Hawkeye," one of the names should've been either "Steed" or "Mrs Peel."

Saw Jemima, immediately thought Puddle Duck and tried anthropomorphic; then I felt silly when I realised what the actual answer was...

Not thinking of the movie I just watched with Haweye, I also tried alias for that clue, but I think it is a legitimate answer.

I also tried alter ego for the Ant-man clue after trying alias. If Steel or Mrs Peel had been one of the clues, it might have solved the problem. (Or were those names aliases too?)

USA is actually an initialism, or acronym, NOT an abbreviation.

Kept trying alias and alter-ego for the Hawkeye/Ant-Man one - seems like both answers are specific enough that they should work

@Sareyrary.. As strange as it seems, it IS Aunt BEE.. if we are referring to Andy Griffith Show.

Since I haven't a clue who the Ant-Man is, I tried "antihero" for the one with Hawkeye in it.

For Poor Richards, I kept thinking of The Office. On there it's a pub, and I couldn't think of a synonym for a bar starting with an A. Facepalmed when I saw the answer.

Brent Musberger is a sportscaster, so "announcer" never even crossed my mind, since that's the guy who announces things over the loudspeaker, not over the TV. I have no clue who Ian Darke is.

@LisaSimpsonOH Ian Darke is a very fine sportscaster, mostly covering soccer and, occasionally, boxing.
