I was hoping you'd take "Pink Nightmare" for Ralphie, since that's what his father calls it. :)
Nov 25th, 2011 at 14:36 GMT
MRL: Great suggestion. I'll add.

Could you accept just Cindy Lou as an alternate?
Nov 28th, 2011 at 03:01 GMT
"Rubber" is British for eraser, so you should consider adding that.

I laughed and then was sad at the fact that you pointed out the piglets are pink on the inside as well.

THE MAGIC CONCH

Another Brit alternative (rubber is much more used than eraser - we don't even giggle at it) is brace/braces for retainer. Also some companies filter image by percentage of pink (can't imagine why) it will be interesting to see if I can open this one at work...

Aug 9th, 2012 at 04:17 GMT
PONYO WANTS HAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aug 9th, 2012 at 04:19 GMT

Aug 9th, 2012 at 04:23 GMT
Carnation? I thought it was a loofah
Aug 9th, 2012 at 04:37 GMT
That's an unfortunate placing of the ham picture... Right under the piglet :( :( (But also kinda funny....)

Had no idea who Kirby was, guess it's a gamer thing. Otherwise, great quiz!

Wow, you mean you see a ribbon and write "ribbon"? Truly, this is a prime example of sporcle's most "mentally stimulating" quizzes. For kindergarteners.
Aug 9th, 2012 at 04:57 GMT
Utterly baffled that more people know what a conch is over an eraser!

@ensiform: Just like the images beginning with J was, to quote you, "for second graders", right? Guess what? Not every quiz on this site is gonna be at college level difficulty. Some are just for fun. If you don't like it, don't play it.
Aug 9th, 2012 at 05:16 GMT
@all- I could be wrong, but I'm presuming eraser was added after it was published, as it has already gone up from 13% to 43%.
Aug 9th, 2012 at 07:49 GMT
Reading the archived comments I see that Ralphie was removed from the original game. I'm assuming it had something to do with copyright? Too bad. Especially as some of these are simply the equivalent of saying "pink t-shirt" or "pink crayon" for things that happen to be pink but aren't really known specifically for being pink (cupcake and tulips, for example). Also sorry not to see Pepto Bismol or Fiberglass Pink Insulation.
Aug 9th, 2012 at 07:51 GMT
I'm not so sure I want to say this after a few Sporclers expressed their shock over how few people got the eraser, but yes, I missed it. Believe it or not, I thought it was soap! And thanks to the maker of the quiz that you accept 'Candy floss' for 'Cotton candy'
Aug 9th, 2012 at 10:08 GMT
I didn't get eraser because for some reason I just couldn't tell what it was from the photo. I got conch because of Lord of the Flies.
Aug 9th, 2012 at 10:46 GMT
@ensiform Sheldon, is that really you?
Aug 9th, 2012 at 11:07 GMT
I must of guessed Jigglypuff 5 times

@cfrs15 people were probebly not getting eraser before as other places than the USA call it a 'rubber'
Aug 9th, 2012 at 11:57 GMT
Here in the USA, none of the rubbers I have used were pink.
