Excellently done! Googlebird did a green characters quiz that includes each of the characters on here (except the Geico mascot): http://www.sporcle.com/games/googlebird/green_characters_images

If my memory serves me correctly, our friends Down Under call the final image a capsicum. Perhaps accept as an alternative answer?

Please just accept money or bill for $10 bill, I'm Canadian so I don't have a clue which bill that is, just that it's American money. Also maybe accept Jello for "mint jelly" b/c that's what it looks like.

@PublicEnemy: I agree on the mint jelly. I'm hesitant on the $10 bill but I guess I'll accept money.

I know you added Michigan St. Because you're an MSU fan and I was trying to make a snide comment about putting a more prestigious "green" school, but alas, other than maybe Oregon, Mich St may be the green champion of the NCAA.

@ courtneyyy - I have to politely disagree with you - all of Chicago isn't green, just the river (on st. Patrick's day). @ carbon_rod - I had the same thought at first, BUT water lilies are the flowers (which aren't green, and aren't in the picture) so I don't think "water lily" should be accepted

Fun quiz, I'm not from the US so it didn't feel fair that I was unable to get things such as the mascots and the Chicago river. Some more worldwide generic things would be better to replace those things.

Never been to Chicago, though I've always wanted to. Luckily I got the river right from watching "The Fugitive". Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Speaking of "The Fugitive" -- "If they can dye the river green today, why can't they dye it blue the other 364 days of the year?"

Aww, it doesn't accept "Alexander Hamilton"? Haha, oh well. Seriously though, it would be nice to accept "water lily" or just "lily" without having to add "pad".

Not that anyone can't bridge the gap on this one, but "cacti" should be accepted since that's what it's a picture of.

As a non-american, I have never heard of Sparty so missed that one completely and while I have heard of the 'greenback' I had no idea what the value of a particular face is - perhaps you could accept a few more variants of the answer just to help out us poor lowly uninformed foreigners ;-)

That looks too dark to be Jade. Jade's usually a nice pale green. I really thought that was Malachite.

You are busting our balls with that third picture. "Lily". No. "Water lily?" No. "Lilies?" No. "Water lilies?" No. Also, how many people thought the last photo was algae? How do they get away with dying a river?
