In 1970, Tim Raines would have been about 8 years old.

@GeoExpert, I was thinking Pete Rose myself... Anyway, I got 15 out of 40 and figured I sucked. Until I saw the stats. I still suck, just not as bad. Really working hard I might have gotten 2-3 more. Very fun concept for a quiz.

I'm surprised Howe doesn't make this list just based on the sheer amount of time he played in the NHL.

It's pretty sad how pathetic Canadian professional teams are these days, and the only one that had some credibility, the Canucks, made a mockery of themselves in the finals, both with their play and class.

I wish I would have thought about defense in the football list. Kept typing QB's. Hangs head in shame.

If you combine the regular season and playoff Penalty Minutes for Tiger Williams, you'll see that he spent the equivalent of over three days in the penalty box.

Surprised that Arlie "The Freshest Man on Earth" Latham is the least guessed player on this quiz. Sure, he's not a Hall of Famer but he stands out solely because of that awesome nickname.
