"The Bicentennial Man" is a little dicey, because the original short story is named that as well.

"The Bishop's Wife" was also a movie, if I remember correctly.

Tahnan: Thanks for the comment. I didn't know that. I checked two sources, and both attributed it to the book I listed. Margann: I think you're right - Cary Grant, maybe? I feel it's okay to keep, though, because I'm doing movie to book.

Good quiz. Tough to think of original approaches after SO-O-O-O-O-O many posted quizzes, so I'm always impressed when someone does.

@sharpdale Very true. It is refreshing and impressive. @Margann, MSUKent Along that vein, Red Dragon was as well. But like you said, I don't think there's anything wrong with it since you are going movie to book.

Technically, the King answer was "Different Seasons" where the title was one of 4 not-very-short stories. I'm surprised you didn't also pick the first novelette from that work. (Also, it might get more of an audience if you reverse the clues with the answers.)

Great quiz but a nitpick: the Shaara novel should have a leading "The."
