stormymac : Oct 19th, 2011 at 04:36 GMT 2 points It's SteVen Spielberg.
Comment below threshold: show it thedropsoffire : Oct 19th, 2011 at 04:40 GMT -16 points It's a Wonderful Life was directed by Frank Capra. It's in the wrong category. For evidence, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It%27s_a_Wonderful_Life
criswell8 : Oct 19th, 2011 at 04:42 GMT 2 points Excellent quiz spotlighting some amazing and underrated directors. But yeah, it's "Steven" Spielberg.
guide : Oct 19th, 2011 at 04:57 GMT 6 points Fixed Spielberg. @dropsoffire, I think you're misunderstanding the game. The mystery director didn't direct the films in that category—the missing words in that category make a film he directed.
JLJ : Oct 19th, 2011 at 13:15 GMT 4 points wondering how 99.8% got two "the"s and 99.7% got the third ...
Poque : Oct 19th, 2011 at 14:35 GMT 8 points Fun quiz, but I think I'm in the minority of moviegoers in that I hardly ever realize who directs the films I watch. The only ones I notice are the ones who've done fewer movies and are more outspoken about the ones they do, like Tarantino or Christopher Nolan. I really enjoyed the quiz despite missing all six directors!
dragonfighter : Oct 19th, 2011 at 15:57 GMT 7 points If I knew more directors, it would've been perfect. But it was fun!
Stran : Oct 19th, 2011 at 21:26 GMT 1 point Great quiz - well done!
jennalee : Aug 15th, 2012 at 20:42 GMT 0 points the quiz must have been changed since it was originally put up. "Catch me if dupree heaven" is NOT a title by steven spielberg. However "Catch Me if You Can" is. Am I missing somethign here?
gregoire : Sep 19th, 2012 at 22:50 GMT 1 point @Poque: Judging by the stats (and my own personal experience) you're exactly like the typical movie-goer. The only director I got was Spielberg and not because I knew he had directed that film, but because I typed in the names of a handful of directors' names that I knew and his was the only one that was on the list.
ecstein : Sep 29th, 2012 at 19:37 GMT 3 points why are two words missing from "It's a Wonderful Life"?? It should just read "It's __ Wonderful Life".
hendy1988 : Jan 28th, 2013 at 22:09 GMT 0 points Back to the future was directed by Robert Zemeckis! Wyler died in 1981, 4 years before BTTF was released. Also its a wonderful life was directed by Capra.
