"Holy Spartans, Batman!!!"
"That's no mascot, Robin; but our comrade, cleverly disguised as a Big 10 collegiate sports fan, aka "MSUKent of the Sporcle Empire."
"Golly Batman!... you know everything!! But, Holy Abacus! Why are there 12 teams in the conference?"

Fun quiz. Looked at your source expecting to find Holy Macaroni. Now I'm wondering where that came from. Lots of choices for a sequel. 5 globes.

Holy Uncanny Photographic Mental Processes! I'm surprised I was able to get so many of these. And so many from the movie, too (Sardine, Halloween, Captain Nemo, Marathon). Well done.

Holy hidden treasure! What a great idea for a quiz. Robin was clearly more sophisticated than I ever gave him credit for. Half of the things he exclaimed I can't even spell.

I was disappointed to not see my all time favorite - "Holy Oleo!" to which Catwoman replied, "I didn't know you could yodel."

@Kroxquo: I actually had Oleo as one and ended up switching it out because there are so many butter substitutes that could apply.

Maybe untick last names acceptable and add it manually for Robert Louis Stephenson, Captain Nemo and Las Vegas. I managed to get Merry Go Round with just the word 'Round' as I tried Roundabout. I don't really feel like I deserve that one!

@nurserycryme: It IS crytography, at least I believe that's the more common term. Too bad Robin didn't use it. I kept retyping it and studying the spelling... Damn suffixes :(

Need to accept carat (with a C). It is spelled both ways.

Nice job. Fun to go back and remember the show. I figured out at least 5 from the alphabetical order of the answers that I wouldn't have otherwise.

The producers of that show had a running bet as to the most ridiculous thing they could make Burt Ward say in that form, didn't they.

Technically, cryptography is the science of codes (both coding and decoding), and cryptology is the study of codes (how they're made). "You are technically correct. The best kind of correct!"

And since I'm being technical here, carat with a "c" is used in the weighing of gems, and karat with a "k" is used in the purity of gold. I don't remember the episode, so I don't remember the context of Robin's exclamation. However, in the use of the clue, karat is the only response required, technically. If Robin used it in reference to gems, however, this would be an incorrect clue and response.

@Absentia - I don't remember the context, but would guess that it was in conjunction with a caper pulled off by none other than that fiendish sombrero stealer, bowler burglar and purloiner of porkpies, the Mad Hatter.
