	I wonder if someone, for the first leap year of the 20th century, tried "1900". That was a year that technically belonged to the 19th century and, what's more important, wasn't a leap year.

	My fingers typed "Gandhi" even while my mind was saying, "No way -- Gandhi's important work came later." Shows that my fingers are smarter than my mind! lol. @Lions6116: Chester A. Arthur had what are called "mutton chops" -- kinda sideburns on steroids. I think a beard really has to cover all or part of the chin; e.g., a goatee or VanDyke would count as a beard.

	Really? Ireland and Norway having higher amounts of debt than Italy and Spain??? According to wiki, Italy has well over $2 trillion of public debt, but Norway has less than 1 tenth of that, and Ireland even less.

	I think the problem here is that the debt is probably in absolute terms rather than the far more important measure of debt as a measure of total gdp per annum. For example, if China had a 10 billion dollar debt, it wouldn't be a an issue as they make 5 trillion dollars a year, whereas if Tuvalu with its 51 million dollar gdp had that much debt they're bankrupt a couple of hunred times over.

	I'm curious about the debt source, too. Per the CIA world factbook Greece has way more debt than Ireland, in terms both absolute and relative to GDP.

	Lots of fun, though I shamelessly tried for a beard bonus with Nixon (recalling footage of his Kennedy debate in 1960). I suppose seven o'clock shadow doesn't count (and he wasn't prez then). Made myself laugh, though.... And Buchanan probably had a beard, from what I've read, albeit not the facial hair kind. I should have tried that for a bonus. When King County (Seattle) changed it's namesake from Rufus King (Franklin Pierce's Veep?) to Martin Luther King Jr. 10-15 years ago, the papers had a "retrospective" of old Rufus, who was apparently referred to as Mrs. Buchanan in congress. I suspect that would be known as a media nightmare these days.

	Hard to believe Pierre Laval was Time's Man of the Year. But then I guess journalists aren't renowned for being able to see a bad thing approaching; my local paper allegedly decorated the front-page border with swastikas in 1933 to celebrate Hitler becoming Chancellor over in Germany...and it's still going strong today, albeit with a slightly different editorial position.

	It's Queen Elizabeth II, not Queen Elizabeth. Queen Elizabeth was never married and never had any children, and is often called the Virgin Queen. If the point of these quizzes is to educate and entertain then it's important to get the basic facts right.
