	Okay, I'm really not trying to start an argument over the definition of "one-hit wonder," but I just had to raise the question after seeing Survivor on here. Several of these artists aren't "true" one-hit wonders (e.g., Katrina and the Waves had three top 40 hits, Vanilla Ice had two top 10 hits, and Technotronic had three top 10 hits), but Survivor really doesn't belong on this list. Survivor had eight top 40 hits, including five that hit the top 10 (#1 Eye of the Tiger, #2 Burning Heart, #4 The Search Is Over, #8 High on You, #9 Is This Love). Nice quiz covering a wide range of eras and styles, but I'd suggest replacing Survivor.

	A number of these acts (including Men Without Hats, Katrina and the Waves, Tommy Tutone, and Looking Glass) had at least one other Top 40 hit. Vanilla Ice had two Top 10s; Techtronic had three. Rose Royce had four Top 40 hits including two Top 10s. Survivor had 9 Top 40 hits including five Top 10s.

	I echo the Survivor comments 100%. Way too many huge hits to be remotely called a one hit wonder. But this is a great test of one hit wonders nevertheless!

	Another great quiz from MSUKent! Though, I have to take slight umbrage with it, albeit for different reasons than those above me - Vanilla Ice also had a song called "Play That Funky Music" which, naturally, sampled the original track without crediting the originally artist and featured some extra special new "rapping". Because that's what he did. So while "Ice Ice Baby" is the most obvious match for Vanilla Ice, he did in fact have a "hit" with "Play That Funky Music", peaking at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990, a time of great shame for music.

	Replace After the Fire with Zager & Evans "In the Year 2525", since "Der Kommissar" was an English cover of a hit by... Falco. Other possibilities: Debby Boone, David Soul, Marvin Hamlisch, Klymaxx, Hot, Redbone, Rockwell. Actually, several of these don't really qualify as one-hit wonders: Eddie Grant made the top 40 with both I Don't Wanna Dance and Romancing the Stone. Paper Lace also charted with the original version of Billy, Don't Be A Hero (which was a #1 in the UK). Jim Henson provided the voice for both Kermit and Ernie, who also reached the top 40 with Rubber Duckie. The Waitresses also had the holiday classic Christmas Rapping, and Tom Tom Club charted with Wordy Rappinghood. In the UK, the songs you list for Dexys Midnight Runners (note: no apostrophe) and Right Said Fred weren't even their biggest hits. Falco also had a follow-up US hit with Vienna Calling. Nonetheless, these are by far the best known tracks, by far for most of these artists.

	I would also remove Nazareth. Love Hurts was easily their biggest single on the US pop charts, but they had several others on the rock charts and European pop charts.

	Interestingly enough, a cover of Funky Town was also Australian band Psuedo Echo's only US hit as well. But nice variety shown here and with the suggestions mentioned here, it has been more or less perfected. However, to anyone doing one-hit wonder quizzes, make sure to specify if you define a hit as Top 10, Top 40, or Top 100.

	The inclusion of Big Country is borderline. Their single "Fields of Fire" only reached #52 in the USA, but did better in the UK than "In a Big Country" did. It really is important to define what you mean by "hit."

	Gary Numan shouldn't be there either. He's had numerous UK hits including 'Are Friends Electric' as Tubeway Army.

Perhaps a solution would be to clarify that the quiz covers one hit wonders in a particular country? That way you could have bands who maybe charted only one song in (for example) the USA but had other hits in other countries.

	ALL: I think part of the problem is, I'm a Yank. So performers like Nazareth and Gary Numan, who had one big hit in the US, had many more in the UK. I'm trying my best to stick to true one-hit wonders. In my mind, it's a singer or band that had only one Top 40 hit. Of course, I'm generally looking at the US Billboard charts so it's good to have the input from overseas. As I said, in an earlier post, I'm open to suggestions. Just want to make the quiz as accurate as possible.

	Any quiz that has Buckner and Garcia is a good quiz. A one hit wonder that came to my mind is Joan Osborne - "What if God was One of Us."

	kromclovinfasho: Many of these were in the original version of the quiz. But as pointed out above, these are not true one-hit wonders - at least by how I'm defining it here. One hit in the Top 40.

	In which case Bobby 'Boris' Pickett doesn't merit inclusion, as his follow up to Monster Mash, "Monsters' Holiday" made it to #30 in the US chart in Dec 1962.
