@ThatStarGirl: As I stated earlier, I'm disinclined to accept just "doll" for "baby doll", because while all baby dolls are dolls, not all dolls are baby dolls. The item on the list specifically refers to baby dolls, not all dolls; there are, after all, other dolls on the list as well (Barbie, Raggedy Ann, arguably G.I. Joe and the Teddy Bear depending on how loosely you want to define things). Accepting "doll" for "baby doll" would be like accepting "board game" for "Monopoly", or "video game" for "Gameboy". I'm sympathetic to the confusion the specificity causes on that, but I don't see a reasonable alternative on the answer.
@sproutcm: I'll think about adding that extra column. It might make things a bit easier, as well as cut down on the "baby doll"/"doll" issue if people go in knowing that it's a type of doll and not just dolls in general. Anyone else have thoughts? |
