| A note on the ranking and the year restriction. There is one game on Lemon64's list which was published in 2001 - long after the C64 and most C64 games had ceased production. There's some debate on the site whether it should count in their rankings or not; it is a translation of an earlier Hungarian game. However, as the game was of limited release even then, and this is essentially a new version, I felt that a) it didn't fit, and b) nobody would guess it unless they were reading the list at the same time they took the quiz. So I skipped over it (leaving it as a bonus answer). Determining the game that would take the #100 spot (i.e., what game was bumped off by the 2001 game) was done by looking at the list of games with 110 votes. While it's theoretically possible there is a game with between 100 and 109 votes that has a higher rating, I suspect it's unlikely. I hope all this is an acceptable compromise. |
