Notes: (1) The 1965 lineup is from the opener, which ended in an 11-inning 10-10 tie game. (2) There are 2 players who would have Cy Young awards at some point in their careers. (3) There are 5 players (that I count quickly) that would have MVP awards at some point in their careers. (4) There is 1 player that would become a HOF announcer. (5) There is no way I could have gotten 100% on this quiz.

Wow. I would have never gotten Lee Richard if it had a 24 hour time limit. Don't remember him at all, and he played during my lifetime. Pleased with my 111 though I missed several I shouldn't have.

Good challenge and fun to (try to) remember some of these teams, good and mediocre.

I counted seven players that won MVP awards (Groat, Maris, Boyer, Cepeda, Gibson, Torre and Hernandez).
